Courses Offered:

• Teenage new driver course
We offer Private and Semi-Private comprehensive courses geared especially for the new teenage driver.
• Adult driving lessons
We offer Private courses geared to the needs of the adult new driver.
• Teen and Adult Check rides
Teenagers and Adults alike sometimes develop bad habits over time. This 1 to 2 hour check ride has been designed to identify what you need to work on so that you can be a better driver.
• Defensive Driving Continuing Education
This course is designed for adult drivers who feel that they need to sharpen their driving skills.
• Senior Driving updates and instruction
This Course is designed to help senior citizens improve their driving skills.

 

Classroom Lecture:

Our lectures come from the Arkansas drivers handbook, the AAA Sportsmanlike Driving book, and the latest defensive driving techniques. We show videos that help demonstrate our lectures and help to enforce the fact that driving a car is a serious responsibility.

The dress is casual, making it a more relaxed and fun environment to learn. Students are asked to bring a notebook, pen/pencil, and snack money.

We have at least five classroom lecture sessions a year, three in the summer and one each in the spring and fall. Please check with us for exact dates and locations. You are allowed to make up one pre-approved excused absence. If you must miss the last day you will have to arrange to make up the test.

 

Schedule:

Classroom Lectures are from 8:00 am till 12:30 pm

Classes are Monday through Friday in the summer and on five consecutive Saturday's in the spring and fall.

Note: The behind the wheel instruction is scheduled separately from the classroom lectures.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• Cancellations must be made 2 weeks or more prior to the date of the class for a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the class date will be refunded 75% of the class fee.

• Classroom Lectures are non-refundable after first class. You may attend any available class during the next 2 years, at no charge.

 

 

Behind the wheel Instruction:

We offer private instruction for anyone wanting to learn to drive. We furnish the car, gasoline, and the insurance for the lessons.

Our private new driver course consists of three 2-hour lessons scheduled approximately once a week.

Our semi-private new driver course consists of two 3-hour group lessons for 2 students. Each student drives half of the time and observes half of the time. A final 2 hour private lesson for each student completes the course. This allows us to focus the last lesson on each student’s area of need and fine tune their defensive driving skills. You are responsible for finding your partner and both must start and finish the group lessons at the same location..

All other courses are conducted privately and billed on an hourly basis.

Students are urged to practice between lessons so that they can get the most out of the lessons. All lessons incorporate defensive driving skills and techniques. Certificates are given upon completion.

Schedule:

We schedule behind the wheel lessons 6 days a week most of the year, after school, and on holidays. We schedule lessons a couple of days in advance, allowing us to work around the student's ever changing busy schedules with the least amount of cancellations.

Cancellation and refund Policy:

• Any unused pre-paid portion of the behind the wheel instruction fee will be refunded upon request.
• There is a $50.00 cancellation fee for any lessons not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
